Press Conference 9 December 2014

 

On 9th December 2014 a press conference was held to raise awareness about the project. The conference was opened by the coordinator of the project, Evangelia Soumeli from INEK-PEO. Argentoula Ioannou gave a speech as the president of the Gender Equality Committee in Employment and Vocational Training which is one of the project's partners. Apart from the project's partners at national level, the conference was attended by representatives of the Cypriot partner organisations and NGOs. Besides Argentoula Ioannou the conference was attended by the General Secretary of SYXKA-PEO, Lefteris Georgiades as well as various other stakeholders such as Polyvios Polyviou, representative of the Cyprus Employers & Industrialists Federation (OEB), Marina Koukou Stavrinou, representative of the Women's Department of PEO and Anthoula Papadopoulou from KISA (Equality,Support,Antiracism). After the main presetations a discussion took place.
