Recent wage and working time developments
in the European Union

The Cyprus Labour Institute (INEK-PEO) in cooperation with the European Foundation for the Improvement of Living and Working Conditions (Eurofound) and the Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence of the University of Cyprus, organises a conference on the “Recent wage and time developments in the European Union”, to which we kindly invite you to participate.
Permanent scientific associates of Eurofound will present at the conference the results of not yet published study on the recent developments on wage and working time in the European economic area. The European observatories EIRO, EWCO and ERM, which are permanent structures of Eurofound and of which INEK-PEO is the official correspondent to Cyprus, will be presented as well.
The conference will be honoured and addressed by the Minister of Labour and Social Insurance, Mrs. Sotiroula Charalambous, as well as by the Director of Eurofound, Mr. Jorma Karppinen.
The conference will take place in Nicosia, on the 7th of May 2009, in the ETKA/PEO Hall (14 Simonidou Str., 1045 Nicosia) and will start at 9.30 am.
Simultaneous interpretation in Greek and English will be provided.
